HitranLab does not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share user data.

All file loading, parsing, spectral calculations, plotting, and related processing are performed locally on the user’s Mac.

HitranLab does not use analytics, advertising trackers, telemetry systems, crash-reporting services, or third-party data-collection frameworks.

When a user opens a HITRAN .par file or another supported local file, that file remains on the user’s device and is used only for local processing within the app.

HitranLab does not require an internet connection. Users may independently download HITRAN data from HITRAN.ORG.

Important Notes

HitranLab does not include the HITRAN database. Users are responsible for obtaining HITRAN data files separately from the official HITRAN.ORG site.

HitranLab is an independent application. It is not an official HITRAN product and is not endorsed by, sponsored by, or affiliated with the HITRAN database, the HITRAN team, or the Atomic and Molecular Physics Division of the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics.
